Wow you can tell this comes from narou for better and worse(that character writing), that being said having a proper post apocalpytical sci fi world with multiple layers and exoskeletons with a proactive mc does give it a fair amount of points for me

War of the Adults
This is mostly until the first arc but definitely a pleasant surprise. Very interesting premise and work, I appreciate in a way how fun it is, like it can tell the scenes are also comedic.

Fun short comedy manga, I really like how the art reminded me of older 80s/90s trends. It also somehow had a mystery subplot that made me wonder how it would go but it had a good conclusion.

I like how Harold just say I want to do another band manga. You can tell how much he likes music and by proxy the mc as well I like that a lot. The initial light-hearted attitude might feel too casual, but it helps to ease you in into the MC's passion.

This one is nostalgic to me because of how I had read the webnovel many years ago during my web novel phase. Feels odd to revisit it since most series after became more self aware but it's fine honestly

yeah this is so successful it's arguably top 10 maybe even top 5(well if we count a single series) like getting 500K sales as a vn in current day for something that came out last year with no preceding reputation unless they're dumb and since they also have a chinese tl i doubt they won't

well it was leaked a while ago as in english logo i think but with how big it has been(i think it's arguably the most successful vn in a while either equal or higher to hundred line) i really doubt it won't get one, though maybe they're waiting until switch port comes out

I wonder how this series feels towards somewhat who is unfamiliar with murim but if you're looking for a so far solid one which executes the tropes and has a strong mc from the start then look no further

Arakawa comes back it with another cool supernatural action mystery series that just is great and amazes me with how they think of this

Only read one volume so far, but Tamura Ryuuhei has always done nice work so it's nice to see he's finally having another one that seems to have stuck the landing so far.

Most people got really tired with it from what I remember I do think it was cool and rare it had two ops that were good

the usual pace of 3 volumes per 12 episodes seems ok enough as an advertisement usually though so it's hard to change and there are some where the pacing doesn't translate as well like rokka which did just one novel and that one i remember people felt like it was so slow and dragged

yeah I do think there's way fewer that do take but some of those have been some of the best selling ones like kusuriya, haruhi, violet evergarden, etc. though there are external factors and some of these were already best sellers beforehand so it's hard to judge

probably with how big strange fake adaptation's also doing even less

i liked the few volumes it did even though it definitely did not seem to grab the same magic but yeah i guess he's too busy with other stuff

I guess to most people the stigma of LNs being slop factory and also it being something that you read (I say this because I end up watching the anime while knowing, like 8/9 out of 10 times, the LN is better) means most people don't care and usually people go the LN afterwards if they care

Sometimes especially with how many anime end up being LN adaptations I wonder how many don't end up cutting as much. I feel like the ones who do take a slower pace are somehow more risky with that appraoch, but it does feel sad at times seeing some adaptations cut so much content as LN reader
