I think the by-line does the book a disservice. There's a lot more to ADHD than just "distraction" and I'm always wary of sources that seem to present it as just being about distractions.

This book does not do that, even though the cover is plastered with the word.

This has been a really insightful and beneficial read so far that I would recommend to anyone else with ADHD or with a loved one that has it.

I've never heard the underlying "mechanism" of the brain that got us like this explained so recognizably.

Don't be scared, even if things don't work out every experiment is progress, steps towards something better.

There is more than just "good enough" out there. It's a bumpy road and takes different kinds of work to get there but you deserve that. We all do.

Is it a new relationship? It may slow down and she may be more free when they settle in a bit more.
