That won’t happen for at least another 15-20 years. (And Safeway will negotiate a return to anything new built there as well as a clause to keep any other grocery out of the building.) Let’s focus our energies on getting a good grocery in the existing empty grocery space, I think.

There isn’t a really good spot for this on the corridor stretch currently in question, but the former Walmart spot on the NW side is still sitting empty, and frankly, it would be great there. (Or an urban Wegmans, which I had been hoping for from the day the Walmart closure was announced.)

Why past tense? Did you give in and take the training? When I was at OCTO, we had people who held out on every training you could imagine (including non-tech stuff like harassment training) and they never got in trouble for it.

Is this just your agency, or is this mandate city-wide?
