Did they ask the stakeholders? I don't know any fans who support this game going ahead despite any potential UEFA consequences.

I'm not sure "we'll play Israel so we don't lose 6 points & slip to Nation's League Group C" is the compelling argument the FAI think.

To clarify they're under "no pressure" from an understanding UEFA, and all thats at risk is the points, makes it easier to forfeot the game IMO.

As an FAI season ticket holder I will not be inside the stadium in October. Future season ticket purchase (after 40+ years attending) now under consideration. I'd take a 6 point deduction (and any other penalty) any time if it meant I wasn't supporting a genocide. #FAI #SpeirGorm
