Might start shopping the book around in Europe & Canada because publishers here are nervous about picking up a book critiquing American fascism right now. It's frustrating because I know Americans want to read that right now, but the fear of backlash is huge.

It bums me out when people get on here and minimize the terrible things that are going on, which are clearly going to have terrible consequences for so many. And yet I can imagine all of this is breaking brains, even smart ones, and the stress of facing reality straight on is a lot.
