GBS arrived yesterday and the difference is crazy, so much better

Bought a new upscaler and capture card as Christmas presents to myself, hopefully my game feed won’t look so ass now and more importantly won’t cut out at random times!

Retroscaler2x is an absolute piece of shite. Into the trash it goes, my capture card probably not too far off either

Seconding this, did see somebody learning the JP version but not sure if it ever resulted in runs

FF7 2025

Took apart my PS2 to clean and fix it as it was having issues loading backups, failed that and managed to actually get it to load retail games slower than before as a result

Will likely do a 2025 speedrunning goals list, for myself mostly, but one has to be to complete a run of FF7 any%. Much more feasible now that it’s under 5:30 and likely to drop further. There’s also a cutscene remover patch so worst case scenario I use that for “unofficial” runs.
