Topaz dragon illustration design sheet I painted. I know the wings are going to take some adjusting to so bear these words in mind: it also has floating crystals; it’s a magic man.

Next in the Gem Dragon illustrations I did for Dungeons & Dragons The Book of Dragons is my favorite. You may have noticed the somewhat controversial design feature but instead of cowardly ‘fixing’ it, I leaned all the way in.

Tell me again history’s not amazing

I haven't played much solo. Usually just hop on with my brother and ride his coat tails while I play the glass cannon and we pick up a random third. If you ever want to join us we are on PS.

He makes it look easier than it is, but I started to get the hang of it. Hard to give up the flash and slot-machine-like joy of magic spells though.

My brother has mastered the Bird, well he is a souls freak so he has mastered everything. BUT, he was teaching me the other day. Heavy block. Just o+ block, reflect (special ruin), and guard counter when you can. Stack all the guard counter bonuses you can get. Start rolling at low stam.

I feel like the Birds heavy block + reflect damage + guard counter is so much beefier. Especially for tanking. I always feel like the only good time to parry is if the other two members have fallen already. That said I tend to play duchess and recluse so, I could be out of line here.

Palliated Woodpecker destroying an old log this morning. Little Wren came to check out what all the fuss was about. Pilliated Woodpeckers are huge, and they do sound like woody wood pecker. #birds #wildlife
