15.02.2025 20:28 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Schneider (2004) represented the id, ego, and superego through characters Parker and Nichols: Parker representing the id, Nichols the ego, and the synergy of their brotherly bond the superego.

14.02.2025 22:34 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Librarianship is like 90% white and cis women. Many of them are just as bigoted as the rest of the country. Many are very happy about book bans and the shift toward fascism. Many will happily stigmatize and ostracize unhoused, trans, BIPOC, and other vulnerable and marginalized patrons and staff.

01.02.2025 04:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Text reads, "Library kids are NOT in a hurry to read banned books" There are so many reluctant readers out there. They need & deserve access to as many books as possible. Audiobooks, fiction, mystery, graphic novels, comics, manga... this is how they develop book joy! If a kid falls in love with these books and they're forbidden... they will simply stop reading. It will be difficult for them to try again It doesn't matter to them if a book is banned. It matters if they like the book.
