This went thru so many color/value revisions, but I had a lot of fun working towards that beautiful card art vibe.

The fact that Wrathion *was* supposed to be in a CGI cinematic like the artbook but was the ONLY character from it that got cut will forever frustrate me lol

Year 2022: Five furries are drawing together. The appearance of the characters are dictated by their artist's style. Sharp, swirly, monochromatic, bold, iridescent. I painted a cat in a bookshelf! medium: Nicker poster colour on Arches watercolour paper

The commissioned art is of Wrathion (in dragon form) and Anduin (depicted as a lion). The piece is in delicate, yet vivid watercolours, the artist's distinct style. Wrathion and Anduin are posed with each other, as if they were playing. Anduin also has a earring in the colour of Stormwind blue, and a flowing white and pale blue scarf.
