I've been getting back into the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series after many years, and the most relatable part is how everyday objects like doors and elevators have been imbued with artificial intelligence and it just makes them obnoxious and frustrating to use and everyone hates it.

Then we went to see one of my very favourite films, The Thing, at the Light cinema. Not only was it not too gory (I was a bit worried when the BBFC card emphasized 'strong violence' and 'gore'!) for them, but they really enjoyed it!

Google.com is currently celebrating 45 years (🤯😱👴😭) of Pac-Man by letting you play a Halloween version of the game via it's home screen.

Tangentially, I just looked up 'e.g.' definition to make sure I'm using it correctly & just learned it specially means 'for example' not just 'example', so had I written ' just for e.g.' above I'd have said ' just for for example'. Something new everyday day & all that.

I do a decent amount of work prep on my phone when out & about, waiting for things, etc. & I wish Google Keep had that same format capabilities as Google Docs. I find the Keep app much more readily accessible but I'll nearly always just use a Google Doc now.
