Yes! This is very obvious in primary sources: colonial ventures, navigational pursuits, literature and drama (including Shakespeare) all were under a strong Spanish influence but Anglophone historiographies are still reluctant to acknowledge it.

#OTD 1547 Henry VIII was buried at St George’s Chapel, Windsor, next to the remains of his 3rd wife, Jane Seymour. Henry’s will was one of the most important documents of the age & has been forensically analysed by @sixteenthCgirl
