Speaking of shadows, a few times at the second haunted house, we'd look down the long hallway that leads to my bedroom, and there'd be a tall, shadowy figure standing there, and it would slowly disappear.

The house after the 2nd haunted house, I'd occasionally see shadows dart across the walls of my house, but as far as spiritual activity, that was it for that house.

Another thing with both of the houses, I would feel someone grab my ankle and pull it. Sometimes, a light tug, other times it felt like someone was yanking on my leg, but I never got pulled off the bed. Sometimes it was my arm, not my leg.

Oh, right, I forgot to mention, with the second haunted house, I would wake up sometimes with scratch marks on my neck. That stopped when I moved.

I'd hear people whisper my name, I heard footsteps up and down the stairs, I heard a woman scream once in a while, I even woke up once in a while to someone at the foot of my bed watching me sleep.

The second house we lived in for 9 or 10-ish years, it wasn't as bad when it came to paranormal activity; however, I would experience things flying off shelves and smacking against the wall on the far end of the room.

My sibling's bedroom had the attic door in it. They mentioned that sometimes they'd wake up and the door would be wide open with a black figure watching them.

My aunt and cousins saw a man run off the stairs and hang himself. One night when I was lying in my bed, a blue human-shaped figure rushed me twice. My vision turned blue, and my muscles tightened so I couldn't move.

Occasionally, we'd hear footsteps upstairs when no one was up there, thuds in the attic, which no one ever went into. When my father was home alone once, he heard children playing and laughing. When he realized we weren't home, he ran out of the house.

I'll refer to the first house as the "Dougall House." My family and I lived there for 11 months. According to the landlord, we were the longest-lasting residents of that house before we had no choice but to leave.
