For 'Mr. Scorsese,' faith — like cinema — is unfinished business "Mr. Scorsese," Rebecca Miller's five-part documentary out now on Apple TV+, traces the famed director's career exploration of blasphemy and salvation, devotion and rejection, sin and grace.

I've wanted to write an essay about Scorsese and God for about a decade now, now tied to the Apple TV+ documentary MR. SCORSESE, I finally got my chance.

Thanks to my incredible editor Shannon as always <3 @ncronline.bsky.social

We had our second to last session with the current cohort of the BIPOC Critics Lab. Any assigning editors out there in film, TV, music, and theatre, this is the most brilliant group of people I've trained yet, so keep an eye out for their pitches, or better yet, let us know if we can pitch you.

Documentary chronicles history of liberation theology-inspired movements in Latin America The film "The Gospel of Revolution" traces liberation theology's history of inspiring social movements in Latin America to seek economic and social balance through policies that prioritized the poor.

Culture critic @josesolismayen.bsky.social reviews "The Gospel of Revolution", a 2024 documentary on #liberationtheology for @ncronline.bsky.social.
Director Drouet "avoids the colonialist tradition of forcing meaning into the history he's sharing, willingly becoming an observer instead of a guide."

NYC Theater Received over $500,000 in FEMA Funds While Promoting ‘Anti-Racist,’ ‘Queer’ Shows | National Review The funds were provided from 2020 to 2023 as part of FEMA’s Covid relief program.

While living my life peacefully I have been name-checked in this ignorant, and hate-filled article from the National Review for my work as an anti-racism activist.

Every day you make a fascist angry with your work, is a day well lived.
