Grateful to Aberdeen Central CLP for sending my motion to #ScotLab25.
Despite what some in our movement believe, there can be no peace without justice in Ukraine.
We must continue to back our Ukrainian friends with money and weaponry to take back their country.

Discovered yesterday that, in some cruel Shelbeyvillian twist of fate, Dundee has an imitation version of Aberdeen's famous Thain's Bakery - Bayne's Bakery.

Side note: a good friend of mine genuinely thought he was called 'Ellon Musk'.
They were disappointed when I said that that was actually a knock-off Aberdeenshire fragrance, and not the richest bastard in the world.

Your helpful reminder that Aberdeen's draconian anti-drinking laws will not apply temporarily between 6pm on 31st December and 6am on 1st January.
Happy New Year.
And so begins my Christmas tradition of doing all my presents shopping on Christmas Eve.
Glad to be joined by every other panicked man, husband, brother and son in Aberdeen in Boots, it would appear.
It is my deep honour to chair a board stewarding our city's special cinema and it's community through a rough patch in it's history.
Together, we are building the future for Belmont and making a destination worth visiting in Aberdeen's city centre.
Thank you to everyone for coming along today.
Scotland has a housing emergency. The SNP Government claims itβs working to end that.
But look at these official figures out today. Across the board, fewer houses are being built.
Dismal.
I look forward to Freedom of Movement for under-30s returning just as I turn 30, and never having the opportunity to live or work in the EU.
Very, very, very fed up with Brexit.

It's 10 years this evening since I started working at The Grill as a student.
I left five years ago, but I owe much to the customers, to my bar staff colleagues and to the former ownership. Lots of change since then, but still a good Guinness on tap at HQ.

Many of you are supporting the project monthly, giving what you can regularly to help ensure a future for what will be Aberdeenβs only independent cinema and film education centre.
Our cinema can be an independent and thriving venue fit for the 21st Century, entertaining and educating generations of Aberdonians whilst contributing to our local economy.
Tell our MSPs to prioritise Belmont in the Budget on Wed. 4 December. More here β¬οΈ
