Klasse I lager onderwijs: de leerlingen uit de hogere burgerstand en academische elite die doorgaan naar HBS en gymnasium.
Klasse I is de 'beste' klasse. Gek eigenlijk dat in 1870 de cijferschaal precies omgekeerd werd vastgelegd: 1 is de slechtste score. (in Duitsland was dat anders: van 6 tot 1)

De afbeelding zag ik niet aankomen. Het is een tabel van gemiddelde intelligentietestscores van leerlingen van alle scholen in Leiden, in de 20er jaren. Ik kan er uren naar kijken, het is zo onthullend! Het gaat om standenonderwijs dat ook onverhuld zo werd benoemd: scholen in drie 'klassen'.

Onderwijs is heel erg bezig met rangordenen van leerlingen, ten koste van kennis bijbrengen. We zien het niet, omdat we zelf in dit systeem zijn opgegroeid, en er relatief succesvol in waren. Veel kinderen krijgen bij voortduring negatieve boodschappen op hun bordje; ook door achtervolgsystemen.

YES! Onze motie om geen eigen bijdrage voor jeugdzorg in te voeren is zojuist aangenomen! Eindelijk gelukt! 🎉

Staatssecretaris Tielen worstelt over MRI als borstscreening. Dat komt omdat ze bv denkt dat het levens redt. Daar is echter geen bewijs voor. Het percentage vals-positief blijkt ook veel hoger te zijn. Bezint eer gij begint. Er is nu al een zorginfarct.
