Today i had the honor to speak alongside multiple incredibly LGBTQ+ individuals at the OAESV statewide conference in Columbus, Ohio.

It was gratifying to speak to violence prevention advocates across Ohio about the importance of including the trans community in mind when serving communities.

Friday I took the stage again. This time with The Party for Socialism and Liberation I am thankful for them sharing their platform with me to discuss how we need community now more than ever. We need to address the politicians that turned their back on is. We must help eachother as a community first

A month ago I was able to speak to an audience about Sex Education. In a world where education is filtered, targeted, and censored we must look deeper into taboo education and how the patterns of erasure for these topics can be the guidelines for identifying erasure we see now. #sexeducation

I had a lovely opportunity to speak my mind at this event and so grateful my words made it to paper. We need more community focused efforts if we are going to fight systematic erasure. The systems that be are failing and if communities don't step in to replace what is lost then we will be lost also.

Executive Orders have no power on their own. The State Department has to change its policy on passports for there to be any implementation, and that will not happen overnight. We don’t know what the real effects of the Executive Orders will be. There have not been any concrete changes to legal policies yet. Not everything proposed is actually something that can be executed. Some of this is meant to just cause fear, and not everything will happen in the same way/timeline everywhere.
