I’ve been in many arguments with conservatives on the second amendment over the years, inevitably they argue that 2A protects our liberty because politicians fear a violent uprising if they go amok. Is this not an implicit threat of political violence? It’s built into the GOP platform.

Can we agree that what killed Charlie Kirk was a bullet? Fired from a gun? And that if the killer did not have that gun he could not have pulled the trigger? Many other countries have immigrants and trans people and low rates of violent crime. They make it hard, but not impossible, to get a gun

Dear Congress,
Thoughts and prayers are great all the way through the holiday on Monday. On Tuesday it’s time to go to work. If we can’t have guns in Congress, the White House, or the Supreme Court because of safety issues why can we have them anywhere?

I really hope that in my last few days on Earth there aren’t hundreds of millions of people praying for my death and waiting to celebrate.

Trump continues his education of the US, this week we are learning about “habeus corpus” and “due process”. Prior to his election, through his various indictments, we learned how inefficient “due process” makes the justice system, so he’s working on eliminating it. What could go wrong?

Trump will go down in history as the education president. He has taught us so much over the years. For example did you even know “emoluments” was a word before Trump came along? Now I bet you can use it in a sentence.
