Minnesota lawmaker Katie Jones rode in a cargo e-bike to the hospital for her baby's birth. Her husband, Peter Schmitt, pedaled the two miles there.
On the return journey, their son Hans β all 8 pounds and 1 ounce of him β was bundled up and handled it just fine, Jones said.

I mean the gas price has also spiked which mean in July the next price cap will be much higher which means higher electricty bills

106 people will be killed on Birmingham's roads next council term.
Along with 15 organisations, we're calling for Birmingham's future leaders to adopt 10 practical steps to prevent these deaths and many more serious injuries.
Who will make Birmingham's roads safer?
I guess itβs ok to cancel plans to calm and reduce traffic to make life safer for everyone if you also put out a nice video asking drivers to just slow down and be a bit more careful?

NEW: Walsall councillor Graham Eardley has been suspended by Reform UK with immediate effect pending investigation.
The party says it received a witness complaint alleging he acted so aggressively towards a female volunteer that security had to escort him from the building.
Honestly that feels like an opening look for a number of UK Drag Race queens

6 years of work on an extremely moderate plan to mitigate car traffic. But some car owners from around the country didn't like that idea and said so in a "consultation," so now it'll be just more and more of this.
I guess the people in charge don't want anyone to want to move here. Who would?
And now, everything will just get worse in this beleaguered city, and the inequalities of #UKCarCulture will just become more entrenched.
Birmingham once again the poster child for how #CarsRuinCities.
I did 3d print a useful thing!!! This remote control sleeve stops the batteries falling out and getting lost when yet another kid knocks/drops/throws the remote around.

These are school streets.
Volunteer-dependent initiatives in which twice each day, pedestrians plead with drivers to perhaps consider not endangering kids outside their school should be called something else.
Those paid a fortune to assess global risks say βnot these global risksβ.
