It was really good to talk to residents and hear their views. So many people in Churchdown know Stewart already because he’s already been working hard to get things done for years.

Today district and county council leaders and chief executives met for talks on unitary and devolution.
I set out the need to listen, understand our different views constructively for the good of Gloucestershire. I look forward to working together in the coming weeks and months

I believe we must keep Gloucestershire as a county intact: there are some suggestions of splitting into more than one authority, but this would be wasteful and we need to keep the county together #LocalGovernmentReorganisation #UnitaryCouncils #Gloucestershire
