Cleaning out some stuff. I found the CPU from my very first custom build, one I used to learn FL Studio and to write all my music from 2002-2007, pretty much the pivotal moments that started music for me for real. It needs to be cleaned properly. Maybe I’ll figure out a way to frame it.

Can't quite fathom why, but something tells me that so-called "AI" may have been used in the doctoring of this image of a SEGA Dreamcast.

I explained as good as I could that it was inexcusable to send to computer shops CPUs with stickers placed on the core, that this will increase the RMAs and damage CPUs and motherboards from excessive heat and I got a positive reaction... it didn't last that long, in the A64 days they started again.

When i came to Spain from Venezuela in 2003 I worked for a couple years at an small computer shop and it was super common to receive CPUs from wholesale distributors with this kind of stickers, I talked with the boss and he told me he couldn't do anything about it and I asked to talk to the sellers.

Wow Its been awhile since I visited the crowdsupply webpage, damn sir that is an awesome amount of preorders!
I can't believe such a tiny amount of base units.

Currently helping an elderly family friend figure out if an email is a scam (which it obviously is) and hey, people who make mobile email apps, it's a dark pattern to not make the email address of the sender visible without needing to click on the little arrow thing.

Oh, hello Ian, one question: Do you think if people get the basic version, they might be able to upgrade to the full-featured one with some sort of kit in the future? I watched Phils's, Clint's and Ress's videos and I think I didn't got that point across.

Yep, it was also common to find CPUs with a full tube / bag of the thermal paste that was included with the heatsink all smeared above the Die, PCB and the stickers!

To be fair, this isn’t really a war, it’s a [waves hands] operation, run by the Department of…wait I’ll come back in and start over
