as for the DPMI server I was using on real hardware, pretty sure it was just DPMI.EXE from PC-98 MS-DOS 6.22

I think it's just normal go32. not sure what's providing DPMI since I was able to run it standalone in DBX

segfault on a djgpp program in dosbox-x

actually it's pretty flaky. the first time I got it to run okay, but relaunching the emulator and rerunning will sometimes result in segfaults/coprocessor overruns. then input to the emulator locks up, with "8251 warning: RX overrun" output on each keypress

exiting on a normal run also segfaults
