And yeah, the Cursed City set was nice too, again I had to get it over time piecemeal from eBay.

Never got any of the 2nd AoS set , the Hammerhel one.

I managed to get a few of the Silver Tower models 2nd hand and they were nice unique sculpts not found in the normal unit boxes as well as the rules, cards and boards.

Got the core set for Blackstone spread out over individual split box purchases.

Again, great models.

They're quite simple sculpts, but they have some charm to them, with weird objects being carried, even one standing on another, the heads are fairly interchangeable across the whole range, as the ogre kits also include a couple on each sprue, all different from the main box of them.

Yeah, they'll find cracks and crevices in buildings, cliffs and trees and snuggle down over winter, some survive some don't, those that do, will likely have babies the following year.

I say babies, their larvae are built like tanks 😂

Yeah, I saw loads flying and landing on some canvas sheets that are tied to a building site as I was coming home from the supermarket.

I suspect they're getting ready for hibernation.

Yeah, having seen the original film and then Stand Alone Complex and THEN reading the Manga, I totally get where your coming from, the Manga has a much lighter tone then the anime adaptations do, they're more like his Dominion Tank Police series.
