Panel 1: Another view of Rune's office - there's a huge window behind her desk, with a high view of the huge city (you still can't see all of it). Next to the desk is a little sitting area and coffee nook, and the whole office is lit by silk lanterns. Reyes (thinking): Nice digs. Pays to be the boss, I guess. Panel 2: Reyes spots his sunglasses sitting on the desk. Reyes (thinking): Aha! Panel 3: As Reyes walks over to retrieve them, something moves under the carpet behind him. Reyes (thinking): Hope she didn't fuck them up... Panel 4: Reyes trips and almost falls, just managing to catch himself - we don't see what threw him off. Panel 5: Reyes checks around himself on the floor. Reyes (thinking): What the fuck tripped me!? Panel 6: A rustling sound draws Reyes' attention to the rug under the coffee table, where he just barely catches sight of something moving beneath it. Panel 7: Reyes kneels down and lifts the rug. Nothing seems to be under it. Panel 8: Reyes sits back up on his haunches, puzzled, and completely oblivious to Rune who is now somehow standing directly behind him, arms crossed and a smug smile on her lips. Reyes (thinking): The hell...?

Yeah, I recognize that people feel rejection when someone blocks or unfollows them, but tbh, you just have to be an adult about it and not take it personally. We can't tell people 'if you don't like it, don't look at it', then get mad when they do exactly that.

I think it's important if we're going to champion the idea that people get to create whatever content they want, that we also support someone's right to avoid whatever content they aren't comfortable with. 💗

And now I have a better piece to do this with. Again - the original is only the first time I drew Rune in her current incarnation - the VERY first drawing of her is probably long gone since she's been around since like 2004.

Rune wearing a red dress that is little more than a draped piece of fabric, with an 'arm hole' that falls to her knee and reveals more of her bare side and back. Her hands are folded in front of her as she looks back over her shoulder, and she is lit by a thin bar of light, as if from a cracked door.

I was supposed to be drawing comics and my hand slipped.

Rune in a red dress with long hanging arm holes that reveal most of her figure. Reyes stands behind her, having pushed the front of the dress into her cleavage while he squeezes her bare breasts and pulls on one nipple. Rune's head is tipped back in a moan and one of her hands has dipped between her legs. They are illuminated by a thin beam of light, as if from a cracked door.

I thought I'd do this for Reyes too (even if he's not technically mine, I do know where he's from and his owner doesn't post about him).
He's from the US, specifically Colorado. He has a touch of southwest drawl to his speech, and can occasionally slip into full 'yeehaw' when he's drunk or worked up

Improved version of the image from 2020 - the lighting is handled soooo much better, and the anatomy has improved a ton. Plus Sammie gets his real tattoos this time! (I hadn't designed them yet when I did the first version)

Ngl I kinda want Rune's office.

Panel 1: Elevator doors slide open with a *ding* as Reyes reaches the top floor of the garage. Reyes(VO) I know, I know. Panel 2: Reyes looks around the small hallway as he approaches Rune's office - hard to tell if it's out of paranoia or interest since he's never been up here before. Reyes(VO): Obviously it was a trap. Again, I'm not *that* stupid. Panel 3: Reyes crosses his arms, huffing as he hesitates slightly in front of her door. Panel 4: A hologram serves as her nameplate, simply stating that the office behind the door belongs to 'Ivy' Reyes(VO): But if I didn't go, I'd look like a bitch in front of the whole garage. Besides... Panel 5: Reyes finally opens the sliding door, having made up his mind. Reyes(VO): She had my shades. Those were expensive. Panel 6: Reyes enters Rune's office - it's spacious and cozy, with everything in shades of black, gray, purple and pink. Silk lanterns with a cherry-blossom design seem to be the main style of lighting, besides fairy lights along the back wall - there is a large desk with a computer at the back, a seating area at the front with a fuzzy rug, coffee table, chairs and large couch, and a hanging chair in the corner piled with pillows, with more strewn around it on the floor.

Panel 1: Rune’s arms rest around Reyes’ neck and shoulders as she leans in to whisper in his ear. His sunglasses are still held loosely in one hand. Rune: The lift passcode is ‘Strychnine’. Panel 2: Rune’s hair whips by as she pulls away from him suddenly, giggling. Panel 3: Rune dances away from Reyes playfully, looking back over her shoulder at him as she holds up his stolen shades in a taunt. Rune: See you in ten, Tiger. Panel 4: She pauses, grinning back at him. Rune: Since you aren’t scared~ Panel 5: Reyes turns to see a trio of Kenzero members have been watching the exchange. They all look quite amused and curious to see what he’ll do about Rune’s teasing. Panel 6: Reyes turns away again, running a hand through his hair exasperatedly. In the background, Rune heads for the elevator. Reyes: God fucking dammit…

Rune is a terrible boss. It's a good thing most of her subordinates don't know that. The only one of the three in panel 5 who knows who she is is the green-haired one in front, who belongs to a friend and is named Romeo (we'll see a bit more of them later!)

Panel 1: Rune rolls her eyes, tipping her head back exasperatedly. Rune: Ugh... I'd hoped you'd stay fun at least a little while. Panel 2: Rune hops down from the table she'd been sitting on, while Reyes tenses up and curls a lip at her comments. Rune: It really didn't take much to scare you off, did it? Panel 3: Reyes' hands slam down on the table behind Rune - her own hand lifting slightly in surprise. Panel 4: Reyes' hackles are UP, as evidenced by a ruff of fur sprouting along his spine, and the beginnings of a low growl. Panel 5: Reyes has Rune pinned in place between him and the table, hands resting on the workbench on either side of her hips. She looks up at him slightly surprised while he snarls at her, his face at close as it can be to hers without touching. Reyes: YOU DO NOT FUCKING SCARE ME. Panel 6: Rune seems to recover from her mild surprise, smiling softly in spite of Reyes continuing to growl in her face. Rune: Mm... Panel 7: Reyes' growl cuts off abruptly as Rune takes the sunglasses off of his face. Rune: Talk is cheap. Panel 8: Rune steps in close to Reyes, resting a hand on his waist. Their faces aren't visible, but from his posture he still seems wary - the growling has stopped, however. Rune: You're gonna have to better than that...

Oop, touched a nerve there. Fortunately for Reyes, Rune finds this behavior charming - it would be no fun if he didn't push back on her a little.

Reyes actually annoys her because he's very vocal about all of the shit he misses from before the war ('Man, I'd fuckin' kill to just faceplant in a spruce - you remember those?') and it drives her up a wall. But he has no idea because she just brushes him off - can't let on to feeling a feeling.

For Rune is can be a lot of little things. A scent that reminds her of someone long gone, a foodstuff that manages to get close to tasting like the real thing, that sort of thing. It doesn't happen often, but when it does she pretty much immediately decides to avoid whatever it was from then on. 2/

For Mal it's kids. Any kind of kid just doing kid stuff makes him miss his little brothers horribly. He doesn't have much cause to be around them (and if he saw a kid in one of his usual haunts he would get them the fuck out of there), but when he does it usually triggers a depression spiral 1/
