Dangerous

So, after finishing my recent course of antibiotics after leaving hospital, I've developed an annoying itchy rash on my arms, belly and ears. Turns out I might have a mild penicillin allergy that only decided to appear now! The fun never stops 🙃

Finally finished the Final Fantasy XVI DLC last night. Soken reworking a leftover banger into Leviathan's theme was genius, and the eikon fight was easily on par with the others from the main game (despite some awkward "artificial difficulty" at one point, IYKYK). Gonna be humming Cascade for weeks.

I am now discharged from hospital! I'll be on antibiotics for a while, and still in pain, but I'm glad it went as smoothly as it all did, on balance. Infinitely grateful to the NHS as always c:

Still in hospital, but I should be heading home today if my body cooperates and doesn't have any more temperature spikes. Still have the pain, but at least there's more clarity about the situation and it shouldn't have any long-term effects. Wingers crossed! 💜

General life update: visited an urgent treatment centre yesterday and been in the hospital today for some pain. Been a pretty bad weekend, but at least I'm in the best place for it now. Waiting for more imaging to narrow it down, but at least I've got a bed. Might be staying overnight.

Currently have a fever, chills and body exhaustion, so I've taken a sick day. Hoping it's just the body complaining after the manual labour of painting the fence! Slept for most of the day so far. 😴

Spent pretty much the entire weekend in the garden, painting our fence with @leolionz.bsky.social. Considering it was my first time, I'm pretty pleased! Just got one last coat to apply after work tomorrow and Tuesday, then it'll be done. Very tired now though 💪
