listen i love ao3 as much as the next guy but ive seen people quit fic writing over the past few years because people comment and engage with authors way less, and then everyone still freaks out when ao3 goes down- if a fic is irreplaceable to u, let the author know!

Is this a safe space for me to say I really dislike Dan Heng's Imbibitor Lunae's form?? I know he's supposed to ressemble Dan Feng, but his clothes look stupid and don't fit him at all for some reason.

Feels like readers don't realise real human beings are behind those stories they read religiously every night before going to bed. They don't care about writers, as long as there are fics to read. They will tie themselves into intricate knots coming up with far fetched reasons why they CANT comment.
