There are creators and fans out there who have been or are being lied to, and I just hope that they will think critically about the stories they're told and the people telling them.

I don't usually acknowledge adolescent attempts at instigating drama, but this has reached the point of endangering lives. They're relying on common misinterpretation of the legal system to prop up their story and give it weight it can't carry on its own under intelligent scrutiny.

They are wearing victimhood like a fashion trend in a bid to gain power and control through sympathy, and they've tried to dress me the same way. My name was weaponised against one of my closest friends, while I was stuck on the other side of an ocean feeling totally helpless.

Some poisonous individuals have been telling very dangerous lies about Omar Najam. And as salt in the wound, they've mentioned *me*, alongside themselves, as a supposed victim of something my friend never did.

I can't decide if I am more furious… or disgusted… or just really disappointed and disillusioned by some of the people in my industry.
