Maybe that belief shapes the way the magic presents itself, or maybe the way the magic presents itself leads to the belief it comes from a god in the first place, or maybe the gods are real and clerics really are just different from sorcerers - I like not knowing

If you mean what would be a fun in-world explanation, I personally treat it as though the gods in my fantasy setting aren't confirmed to exist. So the difference is that a cleric and maybe wider culture believes their magic comes from a god, while they believe a sorcerer's magic doesn't

The second episode is when you meet the rest of the main cast whomst I love (Blake himself is a little boring), but that doesn't mean you're gonna like it. If rickity old British shows aren't your vibe, then you've probably made the right decision - I just think the first episode is a bad sample

Kids On Bikes is very rules light without relying *too* much on roleplay and creative thinking from newbies, imo, and should be a good fit for the kind of folks who've never played a TTRPG but have watched Stranger Things
