The red channel is for AO and the blue is specular, so I tried masking them out based on diffuse/spec shaders converted to RGB, but it wasn't looking great so I just settled for mix nodes.

Theres also whatever "Ctrl" is, I assume thats another lighting thing but I have no idea rn xd

I've been trying to make my own port of a Musume character (bc the current smutbase port is almost unusable) but I'm stuck on how to recreate the shader.

I can use some of the textures, but I think they're meant to be used in a more complex way that I don't know...

Best part about trying to make an animation look like game footage is that if you can't afford the game, you just have to sift through tons of gameplay footage lol. That and Blender's anim tools not being on-par with a game engine, which makes things tricky

Battlefield 4, in EA tradition, is currently $5 (90% off) in light of BF6's announcement, and I'm gonna shill it because I've had so much fun playing it these past 3-4 years. It was still possible to find matches prior to the announcement, but now theres even more ppl than usual.

also if BF6 doesn't have a community server browser I am going to go FUCKING INSANE. Theres so many reasons to have one (building communites, helping players find full servers after end-of-life) that not implementing it for all BF-style gamemodes would be a HUGE mistake

Man its been cool to see more BF4 players again and more people talking. But like, goddamn have the queues been full - theres a lot of other servers they could be playing rather than clogging up the queues of a handful xd

These breath and steam simulations come at a real cost to my sanity and I hope it doesn't make my PC combust, so I hope its worth it xdd

Fr though any resolution higher than 128 and both fluid and smoke sims st-tr-trug-ugle, though FLIP fluids handles it fine (thank GOD)

while FLIP Fluids is a great addon for improving fluid simulations (thank god), theres no equivalent addon for smoke sims that I know of...

so I have to sit there and watch Mantaflow spend ages thrashing my CPU and making things stutter, all while the GPU goes underutilised xd

am thinkin of branching out and making some more non-FNAF art. I have some ideas, but any you guys wanna see?

(might also do more images, since animations can be slow and exhausting to make xd)
