I'm soooo close and ready for this to drop 🔥

It's hard to guess how much I have left to do, I'd estimate I'm around 3/5 - 3/4 done.
Being able to read the captions as I skim through the timeline is going to speed me up soooo much, I'm in the final stretch!

I have been working intermittently on this video for the past two years (as health and life circumstances allow) and today... I finally finished captioning!!!

This is Jerry Lawson. He invented the video game cartridge for the Fairchild Channel F system. Because of his invention, many consoles had cartridges and CD formats and would become the norm.

The Atari 2600, NES, Genesis, and many consoles wouldn't exist without him.

I won't lie, I am feeling despair on an entirely new level today for our industry and my place in it. I love games so much and all of the wonderful, talented peers I have in this industry. And we're all just being so constantly crushed by genAI and greedy CEOs. It makes me feel like giving up.

The utter lack of respect for concept artists and due diligence across the board is disgusting.
