Work shenanigans over the weekend; the hubby had the dustinator flipped onto his back and my work-bestie/adopted son came up with the biscuit song and it’s now up in the office.
My GM said he was taking me to Walmart and leaving me there; HE STARTED IT! (He actually didn’t leave me there lol) 😂

Limited characters didn’t let me put why I say it’s my “Saturday” when it’s Monday. My work week is Wednesday-Sunday, so “Monday” is actually Wednesday. Except the actual upcoming Saturday will be Saturday because I requested the day off for me and the hubby for a pre-birthday outing 😀

My “Saturday” consists of a meowing kitty waiting for his bestie to come back to play, crocheting & watching Tombstone Territory with the front door open. It’s a super nice day out. Relaxing for now then care package for two sick college kiddos, a car wash, and dinner.

This is what’s all in the package; I grabbed two. They had some food related ones too, but I wanted these first.

Thankies! I found those little charms while I was on a trip for items needed at work and I thought they were cute! Trying to find beads/charms like that to crochet in so items are more kiddo friendly. Because what kid wouldn’t get excited about a colorful little bag like this?

Tried a new pattern for my random acts of crochet kindness and fell in love with this one! Cute little bag (penny purse)

Imagine waking up to see the hubby laying like this, your intention is to let him sleep in because you love pampering him, and you have to exit the bedroom so you don’t wake him up with your giggles. How did he even get like that? That’s MY pillow! 😂
Even in his sleep he makes me laugh! Love it!

Of course, Mr. Shadow would gobble up his snack and lay down, then I get a tongue sticking out of mouth pic from him lol! He and Elisha are total opposites; Shadow eats anything/everything, Elisha is super picky. It’s like having toddlers all over again! Love it!

Elisha (indoor kitty) KNOWS when his bestie, Shadow, is here. The doors & windows can be closed & he knows. I wake up to him all excited. Look out, bestie is here! Promised him playtime on our days off. Open the door, give Shadow his treats, & they’re playing. He’s such a sweet kitty 🩵 (both are)

It’s come to the point that I literally see none of my friends posts unless it’s a week old. I’ve been so disengaged from it I forget about it. Cj and I were talking about deleting our FB & IG for similar reasons as you, plus it’s just not fun anymore.

We were at 68° and rainy. I’ll trade you some degrees! (Why do we always want to trade a little bit of each others weather? LOL)

Oh! Guess what happens this weekend! 😃

The fact that my GM gave me a $2 raise after the management raise & scheduling my hours on Wed & Thurs to keep me away from the one person who triggers my PTSD, as well as save labor hours: very much appreciated! Now if higher mgt will stop degrading him and making his life hell, that’d be great.

If the bottom 30% can’t afford a full grocery cart, the economy is failing.

Tax the rich. Raise the minimum wage. Break up price-gouging corporations.

Until then, stop calling this “a strong economy.”

Day 2 of shenanigans has been had! But it calmed down because nobody was wanting to do their job right 🙄

Also since my GM is extremely stretched thin in every way possible, our security cameras aren’t fully functioning because of a cord. We went to look but they didn’t have one. I ordered it off Amazon and told him not to worry about paying me back. Paying it forward like others have done to me 🩵

Went to the store to re-stock our first aid kit because it’s almost empty, plus added stuff in. Also had to get some Goo-Gone to help get grimy stuff off our old drivers boxes. Picked this up for my GM’s daughter. It’s from Auntie and Uncle Kenny 🩷

Are you subscribed to her YouTube? I have an IG post that is solely all my drawings but it’s been well over a year! I really want to get back into it, especially since I bought an actual Apple Pen to go with the iPad I bought for me and Kenny.

Also had a “wtf” emergency run to the school where the Bugg goes. She posted on her Snapchat about going to student affairs; I thought she was in trouble. A note she wrote got back to a teacher; they were concerned about her not having food at home. She was a nervous wreck.

But all in all, today was filled with a lot of fun, shenanigans with three of my favorite managers; a vent session from my GM who took me on a shopping trip for our cameras. Poor guy; so young and being stretched SO thin. But he knows I’m always here to listen.

13 hours today, but still clocked in while I’m at home to work on the last bit of my MDP. Last week I had 52 hours; 12 of them overtime. I’m on track to hit overtime again by tomorrow. We have a new product launching; not gonna like folding the boxes but the product looks pretty cool!!

Today was a better day, bought a ton of glue sticks and a thermometer for the dough temps since I accidentally broke the other one. Folded 11 cases of 14” boxes and box-topped them. We got out at 5:30p thankfully. A hot shower, sitting back in the recliner crocheting. Happy 😃

Yesterday was rough. Stuck on dough (where I shouldn’t have been), MIC was 2 hrs late. Kept calling Miss Mel. Corrected her with my name, told her to call me by that. Mouthy customer. All muscles tightened, pinched nerves flared. Came in today she clocked out at 3:25a. Ripped up my paper. 🙄

Having some fun to get out of the house doordashing with the hubby! It’s definitely been a long time since I’ve done this. A lot more fun now! I’d do it more often if I could find my glasses. Thankfully he’s driving! And being silly, of course!

As a kiddo, always heard my dad say “Well suck-egg-mule”. Thought it was something he made up until I heard someone say, “Well I’ll be a suck-egg mule” in the movie. I got excited that I heard that. Looked up the meaning; very interesting. Now to confuse my younger co-workers 😂

It’s actually been a fun year working there. I think the store getting temporarily shut down for about 5 hours, all high mgt lost their bonuses, it’s weighing on our upper mgt as they try to make sure things are rectified. It actually can be fun. Our GM is over lazy workers though, as he should be.
