Coventry University project aims to reveal secrets of the βbog bodiesβ
Iron Age βbog bodiesβ have long captivated the imagination, but a Coventry University-led study is aiming to shed new light on why these individuals were deposited in the bogs.
Excited to share news of our new project in which weβll be using palaeoenvironmental archives to learn more about Iron Age βbog bodiesβ. Huge thanks to @royalsociety.org, @britishacademy.bsky.social, @raeng.org.uk & @leverhulme.ac.uk for supporting this work with an APEX Award!
