The way Rocha utilizes the collectivizing nature of Mise en Scene in particular is just exceptional. Truly a film beyond words (I tried here though if you wanna see boxd.it/7Rp7fl )

A Idade de Terra is truly exceptional (thrilled to explore more Rocha). The more I sit with it the more I think it's truly the best film I've seen, and I have such little familiarity with Rocha and Brazilian film as a whole so far. I've so much to learn, both to further register this and in general.
