Pleased with how this piece wrapped up. Had a lot of fun exploring using Gouache on wood like this. And the dark fantasy life study subject matter is something I know really want to play with more.
Anyway that’s 1/5 kitchen renovation decor painting projects done. 💪

Well it’s taken 18 months but I’m finally on the precipice of completing my 1780 mile walk to Mordor challenge with only 0.25miles to go. 🎉
Likely completed with evening dog trot later today.
Final Patch reward is in my sights, and then I need to figure out where the heck I’m walking to next. 🤣

Burnout is the worst in many ways, but last year it really crippled my usually very creative brain.
It feels extremely good to be dusting off the cobwebs again.
Under sketch and priming done. Next step is to crack the paints out and do some colour swatching to settle it on colour palette.
