Been a good week of songwriting. Going to have plenty of new ones come our Spring gig run beginning in April

Feels like much is designed to surpress art this morning. The sound of traffic out-speaking my audio book. Workplace cutting off the radio. Constant distraction. Tools designed to help independent musicians just saturate and dissipate talent. Another day...

Hugely enjoyable gig down in Canterbury last night. Lovely attentive, banter-filled and beautiful audience at The Phoenix. Very receptive of our original music so gave them our little cover of Keys of Canterbury as a thank you 🤎🤎

Any play music because they love it?

It's more than that for us. It's everything. We're nowhere near "making it". Probably won't be with all the popstars saturating the folk scene. But if it doesn't become everything...that'd be a sad way to end a life.
