That's kind of the point of this question - there isn't really a precedent so I'm asking a similar audience what they'd expect. And there doesn't seem to be a clear consensus about what it's called.

Needed to hide the bar on a #Shiny numeric slider. Shiny sliders are ion.rangeSlider under the hood, so you can target the bar directly with .irs-bar.
