The news of last night's shooting is devastating. We are heartbroken for the families and community impacted by this senseless tragedy. No one should have to live in fear of gun violence. We're grateful to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office and local schools for their swift response. But thoughts and prayers are not enough - we need to work to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and protect our communities from gun violence.

Our hearts our devastated and we mourn with our community.

Yesterday republicans tried to block a budget amendment I carried to help renters get into homes. Their motion failed…

This saddens my heart. This is actually the most difficult situation for us to address on a state level. Mt colleagues and I are having discussion right now about what we can do.

I agree!!! We’re doing everything we can on a state level… unfortunately state level politics isn’t as sexy as federally stuff so we don’t always get the same coverage.

Your state Dems are putting yo the fight and a state budget to protect our democracy and our folks. Also see the federal judges pushing back and stopping trumps orders.
