Recycle company’s bankruptcy leaves tons of discarded artificial turf across the state The turf, laden with forever chemicals, now faces an uncertain future.

“We’re all going to suffer because these turf fields — particularly the old ones, which we know have #PFAS — are going to leach off and contaminate farmers’ fields, groundwater, drinking water supplies, and surface waters,” said Kyla Bennett of @peer.org.

Trump’s halt on wind energy is a direct hit to Salem’s future - The Boston Globe Salem was poised to be the home of a new type of energy infrastructure, one that would bring cleaner air and promote healthy communities while providing hundreds of good-paying jobs.

WIND. IS. THE. FUTURE.
The Trump admin's short-sighted attacks on wind directly harm MA workers. (And only help out-of-state fossil fuel companies.) Get out of our way, Trump. Salem workers and neighbors are building the future.

W.R. Grace moves forward with chemical recycling - but community pushes back In Howard County, the Cedar Creek community’s fight to prevent W.R. Grace and Co. from constructing a pilot chemical recycling project 230 feet from neighbors’ homes has seen two major developments.

This week's bad HoCo Board of Appeals decision contradicts last month's Hearing Examiner ruling supporting the community's appeal against the "chemical recycling" pilot, essentially ending the appeal before it begins.

Catch up with last month's news here:
