I've seen very little Liverpool #LFC fan chat about this.

If there's one Premier League club and one set of fans that's first to completely ditch Twitter / X than it should be us.

I've loved ie @thisisanfield.com for ages but I'm disgusted by fan websites still linking to posts and videos there.

In no way should we even begin to accept the bombing of a school full of children as part of the inevitable "realities of war" and anyone engaged in trying to convince you otherwise is a proponent of a grave and catastrophic evil

Lebanon: Israel Unlawfully Using White Phosphorus The Israeli military unlawfully used artillery-fired white phosphorus munitions over homes on March 3, 2026, in the southern Lebanese town of Yohmor.

Human Rights Watch says they've verified that Israel has used white phosphorus on civilian populations in Lebanon.

Yeah. Thing is though a lot of it isn't even real, it's just bots.

Reckon there's more of a quality filter here. You can't just post any old shite / clickbait & get popular. Also, you have to invest time in building something new (like they did on Twitter 15 yrs ago), can't expect instant traction.

Yeah I know. It's not simple. Bills to pay etc.

But at some point...none of that matters anymore, it's just too evil. Where's the line?

For me that line was crossed a long time ago, seeing women, queer, sick, POC hounded off, disinformation - if it's unsafe for some, surely it's not ok for all?

'Our findings redefine SARS2 infection a condition of long-lasting immune compromise.

ScienceDirect

International Journal of Infectious Diseases

Volume 163, February 2026, 108287

Persistent attenuation of lymphocyte subsets after mass SARS-CoV-2 infection

Results

During mass infection, T cells, CD4+T cells, CD8+T cells, NK cells, and B cells dropped significantly. Even 20 months post-infection, CD8+ T cells remained 9.9% below baseline. Baseline lymphocyte subsets differed significantly by sex and age. Immune recovery varied by age and sex, with older adults and males showing prolonged lymphopenia. In cardiovascular disease patients, T lymphocytes remained 72.9% below baseline for 20 months post-infection.

Conclusion

Our findings redefine SARS-CoV-2 infection as a condition of long-lasting immune compromise. The sustained subnormal

20 months post-infection, in CVD pts, T lymphocytes remained 72.9% below baseline.

Insane: persistent ~73% drop in immune fighting capacity, including vs cancer. 😒

Fellow Liverpool fans, don't we stand for anything anymore? Where's the solidarity? How does the club justify remaining on X? What about the fan sites?

Yeah, I know, it's 'hard', there's millions of people still there, but so what? Where's the fucking red line? How much is too much pedo-fascism?

"What many people don't realise is that getting COVID repeatedly is not like building immunity, it's more like accumulating damage," she says.

Leave big tech behind! How to replace Amazon, Google, X, Meta, Apple – and more A handful of companies monopolise the web, with unprecedented access to our data. But there are many more ethical – and often distinctively European – alternatives

Fed up with big tech? Here's the good news: we don't have to use it! There are better, safer, free European alternatives to just about everything Silicon Valley is offering, and there's nothing stopping us making the switch. So here's some alternatives.

Desperately looking for silver linings, but maybe the Iran/oil price shitshow will remind people that local renewable energy and energy independence are pretty sensible strategies, and dependence on gulf-sourced oil isn't. From an economic/ security standpoint, let alone THE FUCKING CLIMATE CRISIS.

Today is the annual Covid-19 #DayOfReflection. 6 years have passed since the start of the pandemic. We reflect today, alongside our community, on the people who lost their lives to Covid-19; the people who still face day-to-day impacts; and on the road ahead.

This. Absolutely fucking THIS. It's oxymoronic - you can't love the mountains AND fly to them. Not when you can see glaciers melting and mountains crumbling in front of your own eyes.

And knowing how much everyone suffers. It's the least we can do.

Hey Kin, good on yer. Me too, flew more than my fair share (what we now understand to be 'fair'), then when it became clear that we could no longer fly *and* survive, I stopped*.

* Made the Silver Pledge in 2006 - 'try not to fly', and barely flown since.

And I've lived *a lot* since then.
