Horns and fangs grow as much as their fur and it can lead to early deaths of them. They require high maintenance.

Different species exist in Arrival that have different colors and shapes of horns; they were mainly distributed from the northen territory of the dragon kingdom.

They are often kept in big herds and are very protective of their groups. That includes their care takers.

Sexual dismorphism is present, specially on the shape of their horns, the presence of fangs in males and a long, singular claw on females and overall colloration.

This is Xerón, a species of drake specialized in carrying heavy work such as helping carriages and general land transportation. They are important to deliver goods accross mountain ranges as well.

For the book of nature of Arrival.

Drakes are commonly used to help humans work labor and are a lesser species in the Dracón lineage. Primary drakes had high evolutionary adaptability and were bred for specific needs.
