24.07.2025 19:01 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Let's goo!! I'm at 1852 😁
22.07.2025 23:21 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0A happy watch_it user #Flutterdev
21.07.2025 22:19 — 👍 6 🔁 2 💬 0 📌 0If you are a #FlutterDev dev who love ls watch_it or get_it or command_it previously flutter_command I would love to collect some quotes why you like it for our new documentation Website.
21.07.2025 17:20 — 👍 8 🔁 2 💬 0 📌 0I do! A bunch of them actually 😅
18.07.2025 23:45 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0My idea is to get some more followers there and once my posts are more regular and I still get some interaction, I'll post that I'm leaving and hope people come over. But I don't think posting that before I have regular content will be something the algorithm will like to share
18.07.2025 23:14 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Yeah. I've started posting my contributions a while back and X has really great reach. I'll do some more stuff on the next few weeks and I'll probably keep posting across all three. I dislike it there too but it has gotten me more reach than I could ever think of getting around here
18.07.2025 22:47 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I sometimes wish I could go back to deving without finding bugs in tools I use 😂
I'm glad I'm now confident enough to report them and help when I have the time though!
(Context: I've filed 17 issues since July 9th 😅)
Hey @labenz.dev, I was watching your streams -a bit behind on schedule but anyway 😅
You can use Ctrl/Command + . on VSCode to access so may refactorings for things you do by hand all the time.
Also, once you were struggling; there is a context menu option: "Go to Imports" which shows what you expect
Last time I've asked copilot to fix the errors for me and it was way easier that it normally was 😅
06.07.2025 22:23 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0If you see this, quote with a robot that isn't from "Star Wars," "Star Trek," "Dr. Who," or "Transformers."
04.07.2025 21:39 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That project is now on hold at the moment so currently no. Maybe Siva or Derek know something more.
Could you shorten the repro? Maybe that can help them with this fix
Sorry, I just read your comment again. The yaml is still needed for the resolution.
The pub command will look into every yaml to see the dependencies. Only .lock and .dart_tool are not needed for each project.
See specifically:
dart.dev/tools/pub/wo...
My daughter, drawing: “this is a pirate”
Me: “oh does he have a sword?”
Daughter: “*HE*?!?!?!?!?”
Kid is learning early how to call out my implicit biases, good for her!
No, they get removed, actually.
See dart.dev/tools/pub/wo...
Also as a side note; I've opened github.com/dart-lang/pu...
20.06.2025 21:51 — 👍 3 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0To be explicit, I'm not saying that pub will detect it for sure. It may, but I've not looked into that yet.
I was merely referring to help your fellow devs when finding the repo on what can they do with it.
Hey, don't forget that if all projects have the same license you can probably move that up to the root folder too (forgot when doing the same some days ago 😅)
20.06.2025 20:49 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Also, I need a prequel on Rost’s story, his mission and title ☠️
13.06.2025 21:56 — 👍 2 🔁 2 💬 1 📌 0Dart 3.9 will have improved pattern matching completions!
No more missing keyword, or type when selecting the completion suggestion, I made it add automatically!

Filed under breadcrumbs for future talks 😉:
I regularly take output from one LLM,
and feed it into 3 different LLMs for their feedback,
ultimately sending it all back to the original LLM for a final draft.
I call this process consulting my board of LLMs.
In record extensions, the analyzer wouldn't suggest the named fields unless you typed `this.`.
I've fixed it and now both completions and colouring WAI.
This will be out on Dart 3.9

I've been considering migrating to @kagi.com (suggestion from @filiphracek.bsky.social) but I've not committed yet because paying in dollars from Brazil is expensive 😅
But the results I got when testing were really good
