vtubers, do you know where I can find premade backgrounds that aren't AI generated? Ideally animated ones but totally fine with static as well.
I usually buy my assets/backgrounds from etsy, but almost every background is AI ;-;

ah that's fair! have you checked out mrballen? I think even if you don't like the first list, you might like his videos! he's really good at storytelling. though he does embellish and a lot and makes up some details for story purposes, but they are technically all based on true events/stories!

I feel like that's 99% of my youtube algorithm. just throwing stuff at the wall and hoping something sticks. every so often I'll find something and think "why am I even watching this?" and then 10 hours go by and I've watched their whole channel.

OH okay yeah thats way too disturbing for monotone voices LOL. Usually the ones I watch are about someone creepy following them, and they always end up being okay in the end. Honestly, most stories don't even sound real. I can send some links if you want to check out less depressing channels haha

I watch a few spooky ones like that. I've watched too much ASMR over the years so it stopped having an effect on me. I definitely prefer when they don't sound so robotic, but I started kind of liking the monotone reading cause I can still fall asleep. reminds me of when I fell asleep in lectures lol
