Saddened to hear Norman Eshley passed away last weekend.

He did a wonderful job as Sgt. Clifford Howson in S1E6, Growing Up. He played the airman discovered by the boy in the caves, whom Albert and Lisa daringly rescued by staging a horse riding accident.

Condolences to his friends and family.

Also great in I Claudius where he had to play up to John Hurt’s Caligula

Sad to hear that the unassuming and beautiful actor Damien Thomas has died, best known for playing the cunning Father Alvito in the original Shogun and suave wheeler-dealer in Tenko. I got to know him pretty well and he was a completely lovely guy.
