Sights from Tekko this past weekend

A metal plate on a black plastic box roughly the same size, a 16-key keypad below some holes for a speaker grille, both roughly centered on the plate, an on/off toggle switch in the upper left, and a red pushbutton in the upper right labeled "RESET".

One of the first sound cards. Not THE first, it's an S-100 sound effects, a stereo AY-3-8910 board for IMSAI/Altair/etc. Mine was owned by the 8910's creator.

Maybe more exotic: his portable demonstration unit, probably the first portable chiptune device.

Our crosswalk was removed from the front of our new building, and nobody will take credit for it (so far the local government and the department of transportation have been called), so now we have to figure out how to get another one. 🤨

Our supporter Evgeny donated an #𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘬𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘬𝘢 𝘉𝘒 (Электроника БК) 0010 computer from a parallel-dimension where the PDP-11 was sold as a general-purpose home #computer in #Russia. But actually, it's real! We're working to preserve more foreign tech at Bloop, so get in touch if you have anything!
