And I mainly started digging into this out of curiosity about how the CHA managed to obtain so much real-estate to build the Cabrini-Green project in the 40s. It all makes sense when you learn that this area of town was an industrial slum dubbed Little Hell with an intersection called Death Corner.

Now, I know I saw an old photo of the very first Paper Source location here and can't seem to find it now. Kicking myself for not saving. But I love the details on this corner.

I knew it looked incomplete though, and it turns out she once had a dome. They done stole my girl's crown!
