The Connecticut Survivor Justice Act (filed as SB 1502 last year) is about ensuring our justice system is trauma-informed. It allows courts to consider a survivor's history of abuse when reviewing their sentence. We can't punish survival. ⚖️

Today, our fight for the CT Survivor Justice Act gained another crucial voice. We've added a SIXTH 6️⃣ powerful story from an incarcerated survivor of domestic violence/SA/human trafficking in CT.
