(4/4) Mental health doesn't exist in isolation — it intersects with physical health, housing, employment, substance use, and countless other factors, making collaboration across organizations, providers, and community partners essential to success.

(3/4) We have to meet people where they are and recognize the multifaceted needs that each individual faces.

(2/4) The reach of Integrated Ulster continues to grow, with over 100 professionals attending last week's Integrated Ulster orientation, including care managers, peer advocates, clinic supervisors, wellness coordinators, and others. (Thank you to SUNY Ulster for hosting!)

In 2018, the Ulster County Department of Mental Health launched Integrated Ulster — a collaborative, person-centered "no-wrong-door" approach to caring for individuals struggling with mental health and substance use challenges. (1/4)

(2/2) I was happy to be part of this great discussion, along with Board of Elections Commissioners Ashley Torres and John Quigley. A huge thanks to Devon for putting together such a valuable forum and to the students for their thoughtful questions and observations!

As part of her senior project at Woodstock Day School, student Devon organized a panel discussion for the entire upper school on the roles of different levels of government, why elections matter, and how young people — at any age — can get involved and make a difference in their communities. (1/2)

(3/4) This unique scholarship program is for students who would be the first in their families to go to college, providing mentorship through high school and helping them overcome financial barriers to college by covering tuition at SUNY Ulster for two years.

(2/4) It was especially meaningful to spend time with two ninth-grade students -- one from Rondout Valley High School and one from Ellenville High School -- who I personally sponsor.

I attended the luncheon at SUNY Ulster last week for high school students awarded the President's Challenge Scholarship through the Ulster Community College Foundation. (4/4)

(3/3) Ulster County has long been home to a thriving Ukrainian community and cultural center -- the Soyuzivka Heritage Center, in Kerhonkson -- and this partnership would build on this foundation while showing solidarity with the Ukrainian people.

(2/3) Wraparound Services does incredible work supporting people of all ages with disabilities, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to enjoy time in the classroom with some of the children.

It’s always a treat to read to the children at Wraparound Services of the Hudson Valley. 📖 They loved “Ladybug Girl” by the local author/illustrator team, Jacky Davis and David Soman, and the book inspired a lot of talk about costumes for next Halloween! (1/3)

On Friday, I visited George Slutsky at his home in Ellenville to wish him a Happy 100th Birthday! A World War II veteran and founder of Slutsky Lumber, George has been a pillar of the community for decades.
