she frowned , a look of distaste taking over her features .

“i do not know what 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒏 you associate with . but 𝒗𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒔 do not hide . we are not 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒚 . we are 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒔 . we are to be feared , we do as we wish .” +

+ it was calming , it was 𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑛𝑔 . her tongue passed over her fangs as his fear flooded her senses .

but his following statement brought her back from that trance , for a couple reasons . the first being he clearly didn’t know +

+ but she was sure she had never seen him with her own eyes . perhaps briefly through other minds , but she ought to have remembered . . .

her musings were momentarily halted by the thudding of his heart , her eyes closing briefly as she reveled in the sound . +

oh he was far from boring . but she wasn‘t aware as to why he intrigued her so . it was not simply his looks alone , which were alluring on their own but there was a strange familiarity about him , as if she knew him . +

+ “so many questions . . . but i will entertain them . i have kept to myself , simple as that . the world , at one time , was boring . but now ? not so much . . . and i want to see it .”

+ she wasn’t sure whether it was foolish or brave — she leaned towards the latter . finally , she stopped directly in front of him , holding his gaze for a moment before speaking . +

she smirked at the way he stilled , which only seemed to stoke her predatory nature even more . she found him intriguing , his curiosity seemingly overriding the need for self preservation . +
