With her mom’s skincare business sales down after witch potions are now widely available, she might not even be able to afford tuition anymore. Then she meets Killian, a non-practicing witch and a talented writer in her fiction workshop. Cornelia develops a crush on him and asks his older sister to make her a love potion. The sister, who wants her brother to marry a witch, realizes the love potion is for Killian, so she changes the contents of the potion. When Cornelia learns the potion was botched, she confesses to Killian what she did and he reverses the spell, but he’s no longer interested in Cornelia, due to her dishonesty.
