Twin Cities based actor. 2016 elections activated me on Twitter. Went there to listen to/amplify the heart of the Democratic Party, Black Women. Guess this is the next evolution. (He/Him/His) www.EricLeeActs.com

Just a cavalcade of corruption and ineptitude.

Exactly.

Pretty sure Mike Johnson hasn’t heard about it.

Looking extremely healthy and put together sir.

Great! Who has been implementing it at the state level?

BREAKING: Two more people have died in ICE detention, per required notification to Congress.

That stuff exists, but it’s so niche now. You have to hunt for it.

09.03.2026 21:23 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Ok. Any state now offering students free lunches or daycare, stronger civil rights protections for marginalized peoples, who did that? Biggest climate bill ever passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, who did that? ACA? Who controlled the legislature to introduce and pass the ADA?

09.03.2026 21:21 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

Man, fuck you, Morris Katz, and your messaging and personality over substance and experience. GTFOH.

What is it that people can’t hear about pluralism and expanded access and opportunity? One sentence. That pretty much covers it. What can’t y’all fucking hear? You don’t need books and books, ALTHOUGH SHE HAD THAT, TOO.

I wouldn’t ever do such a thing. I would never say such a thing. Nor would I ever imply such a thing. But if we never celebrate the progress that HAS been made then we are never going to make it anywhere.

09.03.2026 19:35 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

We can both acknowledge what has been done in our name AND celebrate the progress we have made, while continuing to grow AND continuing to acknowledge and rectify our shortcomings.

09.03.2026 19:05 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

You’re right. You got me. We’ll skip over the silly little Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the realignments of the parties. It meant nothing.

09.03.2026 19:05 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Yes, so we start with the Democratic Party of 1964, on. Fine. Only 60 years of history. Still. I’m good going where 90% + of Black Women are leading the way.

Not really, if you’re going to take advantage of the name, reputation, and voter lists of the party, it seems like a small ask not to shit on the name of the organization and history of the name you’re using.

I agree with Rep. Andy Ogles that he cannot respectfully engage in a pluralistic society. And that’s why he and anyone else opposing a pluralistic society should be voted the hell out of office.

So the rent is being a part of the Democratic Party, celebrating our victories, and generally selling voters on the good that comes from solidarity within the Democratic Party. That as a Party, we, Democrats have been responsible for the majority of social advancements in the United States.

This is the most corrupt administration in U.S. history. I’m glad Kristi Noem was fired but Pam Bondi is even worse. We need to end government corruption wherever it exists.

So very. Living their damn Mad Men fantasies at our expense.

People processed their bad feelings about the pandemic by blaming Biden and absolving Trump, so by 2024 everybody seemingly forgot they were mad at Trump in 2020 and just got mad at Biden instead, because it was easier.

What’s worse is that I don’t think so. I really think the reason he’s so damn smug and immovable is he thinks the payoff is on the other side.

I haven’t! I’ll have to check that out. I LOVE the way he uses the colors of his aging voice. And I hadn’t listened to this cover before. GORGEOUS! This and his cover of Heroes!πŸ’—

Why is Congress absent? Because we have a Christian religious extremist in the speakers chair. This world means nothing to him. He’s waiting for his harps in the clouds.

We hear you loud and clear when you say β€œAIPAC.” We hear you when you say β€œZionist.” The song is centuries old and we are not new here.

There is so much that these small, petty, weak, arrogant, and foolish men around the world keep taking from us.
