I am irrationally bothered by the absence of #WillSmith the pitcher from 2024 #Topps. He was fresh off being the closer for the World Champs...at least for 75% of the season.

When I first became an #MLB fan, #RyneSandberg was the class of the league and on his way to a home run crown (1990). He was my pal Nate's second-favorite player since way back.

Saddened over his far-too-soon loss. RIP Ryno. He's probably why there's no fewer than two Rynes active in MLB today.

Every year, there's one or two #MLB players who fall off my radar without me noticing. This year one has turned out to be #MattManning, a #DetroitTigers starter most of 2021-24. I had no clue he's been relegated to AAA all season and the Tigers are doing their "thang" without him.

Whether it's saving him from traffic tickets, bird poopings, expired milk, whatever...I'd like to think that even from Heaven, Nate Dogg is still lookin' out for his homie Warren G. ☺️#regulate
