Day 3: Automaton
I really hated the green in this palette so avoided using it. The way the Gameboy colors let it assign 1 of 3 4 colour pallets to 3 different object types (background, player, etc). So expect that from tomorrow!

These could be activated when playing an original Gameboy game using two button combos, faking the game having colour.
Some games, like PokΓ©mon Red, Green, and Yellow, had appropriate default pallettes.

I've been playing a lot of Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D, and my gosh this game feels luxurious.
Like a custom sprite for each possible class holding a lantern at night, just in case the player character is dead.
Larger sprites just for the start of battles.

So the winner in compost is the player who plays the most cards in a single turn, hopefully this creates space for big combos which end with players admiring each others creations.

This comes from my favourite moments in Dominion are the big combo turns, market into market into market etc*. However these turns slow the pace of the gMd, and worse have other players waiting for you.
*Experienced Dominion players are probably cringing at this strategy, I'm bad at Dominion
